Valorant is a lot of fun for all those who love first-person shooters. Officially, Valorant was released on June 2, 2020. Despite this, the beta version had been available since April 7, 2020. Riot Games is the developer and publisher of the game.
As opposed to other titles, Valorant does not require a lot of resources. It should be compatible with the majority of early 20th century systems. Check out the minimum system requirements below to get a more precise idea.
Can I Run Valorant?
Minimum Requirements for a Windows PC
- RAM – 4GB
- 8GB Storage
- At least an Intel HD 4000 GPU
- DirectX Version – DirectX 11
- Operating System – Windows 7 (64-bit)
- Processor – Intel Core i3 3rd Gen
These are all the minimum specifications for a Windows PC,
Based on the above specifications, a build should be able to run the game without any difficulty. Nevertheless, it will not be able to provide you with 40 frames per second, so expect nothing big from it.
Minimum Requirements for a MacOS Device
As Valorant has not been released on MAC devices yet, there are no official system requirements to run it. You can install Windows on your Mac device using software such as Bootcamp in order to run the game.
Additionally, there is no update on Valorant’s release on MAC. As of now, we cannot comment on whether the game will be available on MAC.
Check this article on GTA V Recommended Specifications, if your PC has similar specifications then it would run Valorant at good frame rates.
As you have seen the minimum required specifications above, we’d like to share what we think you must have to play Valorant with good frame rates.
The first thing is the processor, we recommend an Intel i3 4th Gen Desktop processor for better performance. Along with this processor, you must have a dedicated graphics card like GTX 960 for a smooth experience. You can also use an AMD Processor like Ryzen 5 2nd Gen or 3rd Gen. AMD is doing a great job with processors.
We think that 8GB RAM must be sufficient to play Valorant. Don’t forget to add an SSD to your device, it really does the magic. That’s all from our side. If you have any questions, comment below.
